Today was another tough day.
I still don’t know where the story is going. I have a vague idea of the turning point to go from the end of Act 2 to the start of Act 3, but I still have about ten thousand words between here and there, and that’s where I am having trouble figuring out where to go next. But I did manage another 1,017 words this morning. I’m still behind on the curve, but another session or two today should put me back ahead again…if I can figure out what to say. Per the Save the Cat! beat sheet, I’m in the Bad Guys Close In beat, and this is supposed to be about 25 percent of the story. But, one word at a time, one sentence at a time, one paragraph at a time, and before I know it, there’s the finish line!
