So, NaNoWriMo is over. A HUGE thank you to every one of you that encouraged me to keep going. I made it to the finish line. I had my celebratory sparkling wine. I marveled over my winner’s certificate.
So, what’s next? Obviously, I will need to revise the novel, but not yet. I need to let it sit for a minimum of two to three weeks, let it simmer, if you will, before I go back to it. So, do I sit back and wait until then, relaxing? Of course not. I have work to do. Now that I have managed to write something new, I can go back to something old. My NaNoWriMo win from 2006, formerly known as Heaven’s Seven, currently known as Echoes. I’ve been slowly working on it, but not in any type of consistent manner. I’m hoping that the lessons I’ve learned recently will help me to finally get this baby ready for the big leagues. I will keep journaling my adventures in writing for those of you who might be interested in following my journey. Happy December to all!
