Some progress today, after feeling blocked for almost a week. I had to take a few steps back to see where it was that I wanted to go for the next few chapters. I was recently made aware of this quote regarding writing, and it’s never felt more relevant to me than these last few days:
Writing is like driving at night in the fog. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.

I wrote about 500 words today, which took me through the next chapter. But I also managed to shine the fog lamps on a few of the following chapters. Here’s hoping I find my way to the end of this road.
