I’m on the home stretch now. 900 words stand between me and victory. My lightbulb of ideas (and candy) is almost completely depleted. I found two more areas that could use a little more expansion. The question is now, where do I add the last 900 words? It’s okay. I am going to sleep on it tonight, let my little story elves work on it and have a brilliant flash tomorrow morning as I awaken.
This has been fun, educational, exhausting, draining, exciting, and a million more adjectives. The finish line is visible now. The crowds are cheering (at least in my head), and a bottle of champagne awaits me. Actually, I think it’s sparkling wine. Either way, tomorrow we celebrate!
