Everything is downhill from here. Do I have 6,000 words of denouement? I don&#8217;t know, but I guess we&#8217;ll find out. But if I run out of story, I can always revisit some areas of the novel that could use some extra fleshing out. I am pretty sure I&#8217;m throwing out this complete third act on the rewrite, but that is Future Jackson&#8217;s problem. And so another writing day draws to a close.
