I have a vague idea of the turning point to go from the end of Act 2 to the start of Act 3, but I still have about ten thousand words between here and there, and that&#8217;s where I am having trouble figuring out where to go next. But I did manage another 1,017 words this morning. I&#8217;m still behind on the curve, but another session or two today should put me back ahead again&#8230;if I can figure out what to say. Per the Save the Cat! beat sheet, I&#8217;m in the Bad Guys Close In beat, and this is supposed to be about 25 percent of the story. But, one word at a time, one sentence at a time, one paragraph at a time, and before I know it, there&#8217;s the finish line!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today was another tough day.
